Jump Start on Homeschooling
( DollarTree is one of the best places to get cheap cheap homeschooling supplies)There’s alot of homeschooling families here in Iowa and I’ve noticed at some of the stores they have differentiated between homeschooling supplies and public school supplies for instance the dollar tree I live near has one section for homeschooling supplies and another section for back to school. I thought that was pretty cool .
I wil try to get an early jump start on homeschooling this year insha Allah because things will be a little different masha Allah. I will be homeschooling alone sorta without a pre set curriculum no k12 all though k12 is good. I would like to go a different route this coming yr insha Allah . With k12 I didn’t feel the freedom or somewhat relaxation that i expected with homeschooling Allahu Alam. I felt too restricted far as what we can and can not do with k12 . For instance I did not want to home school on Jumah and instead homeschool on Sunday . It was not possible with k12 for usbecause we had to log in everyday record the school work for that day or he was having too many alluminating classes (classes with the teachers) that were mandatory so I didn’t feel the freedom of homeschooling like we wanted Allahu Alam. Insha Allah this yr I pray will go a little bit smoother and less restrictive.
Insha Allah I will be using this site I would also like to share a few photo’s of our little class room insha Allah actually I have a few pics I would like to post stay tuned for that<-I always say that LOL ! I have a pretty big makeup haul coming up as well some things I’ve gotten and tons of make up my co-wife brought to me masha Allah.
I have pretty nice Neighbors alhumdulilah
The other day I was out mowing the front yard my son and i share responsibility of the yard he does the big ole back and I will do the front . The very first time I was out doing yard work was this past winter I was out shoveling in niqab my neighbors were all staring but in a nice way I guess we had a winter storm and I had to shovel my drive way and after I finished shoveling I took a bottle of table salt all I had at the time and was sprinkling my driveway like a plate of fries LOL! The neighbors across the street brought over a bag of sand and they introduced them selves to my son and I and helped me put it down . They were curious which school Aslam would be going to and I told them I homeschool. So anyways I was outside the other day mowing the lawn and the neighbor from across the street came over and told me that she has this old school desk that is still in good condition but needs painting and would I like to have it I was like sure . So my son and her husband brought it over to my yard and then my son and I brought it in . I wish I had taken before pics but I didn’t insha Allah I will post after pics of the new paint job.
